Although today RAILS clothing is best known for its super-soft—and celebrity-adored—plaidshirts, the brand actually began with a blackbaseball hat bearing the newbie label’s logo. Created by television marketer Jeff Abrams in 2008, the design was picked upbyone of California’s biggest retailers, giving Abrams the confidence to introduce RAILS shirtsandhoodies into the lineup. Skip ahead a few years, and the company has become one of fashion’s top purveyors of effortlessoff-duty clothing.
